SIMPLE HOMEMADE GRAVY

2 c. water
2 bouillon cubes (chicken or beef)
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. milk

In medium sauce pan heat water and bouillon cubes on medium heat until dissolved. In small bowl combine milk and flour, stir with fork until creamy (no lumps), slowly stir into pan. Bring to a boil stirring constantly then reduce heat and simmer 2-3 minutes, continue stirring until desired consistency.

For a little more flavor add a dash of onion or garlic powder and a little pepper.

Note: 1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch and 1/2 c. water can replace 3 tbsp. flour and 1/2 c. milk. For creamier gravy replace 1 of the 2 c. water with milk.
